Spelled towel brings what you need.!

Either my monitors colors are bad or the camera's but there isn't that much blue in the yarn. It is called Mexicali and it was my adopted mother's favorite yarn.

So, what is a spelled towel.

This, my friends, is why you should always, always, support your local witches when they are selling at the flea market.

You DO NOT want them to get bored and start coming up with things to do.....
Anyway, Mom would make these towels and sell them. I am known for my ability to knit or crochet charmed bags and embroider charms.

Business was slow and Mom showed me how she attached the knit half to the towel in such a manner that it was one fluid item without sewing the top to the bottom. (more later) I was working on a knot spell that wasn't going well because I am better known for tying myself up than macrame.
Did I mention it was really, really slow?

I started thinking (really bad thing) that maybe we could combine the towels and knot spells. So I made one but I was reluctant after an hour's work to sell it for $8.00. I mean, it is spelled and that requires an hour of focus on that and nothing else.

So I put $20.00 on it amid all the $8.00 ones Mom had out. Sure enough people started offering 5 or 10 dollars for it. Suddenly the little Fairy that sticks with me managed to get control of my mouth (really bad thing) and said, "If that towel was meant for you, you would pay any price to get it." Sure enough, about an hour later as we were packing up, a woman came by and pulled that towel out of the bin.

She saw the $20.00 price tag and the comment..spelled towel brings what you need....and tossed a 20 down and left. Hence, I have made charmed or spelled towels on and off for years. Each towel really has a purpose charmed into it and I won't tell what.

You have to be attracted to that towel and simply MUST have it. Then you take it home, hang it from the fridge usually, though they have been found on bars, but NEVER in a bathroom.

You don't want to flush the magick. Once hung, it begins to work and things begin to change. Each person that dries their hands gets a little bit of the magick. It will never run out.
You need to hand wash them in mild soap with NO SALT.

It will never run out of magick. One lady cuts the towel about an inch or two from the crocheted handle and sews it onto a new towel when the old one wears out. Since the towels are double, it is easy to do. The spell is in the crocheted top.
